Today was a good day. I had some yummy food and I still didn’t go over my weekly points. I’m so proud of myself for tracking my food this week. I made a chicken pot pie for dinner and I just entered the recipe into the weight watchers recipe builder. That’s such a pain in the ass but at least I know how many points it is. Now I just have to be consistent with the recipe. My chicken pot pie is Ellison’s favorite but this one is healthier than how I usually make it; hopefully he still enjoys it. A slice is still 15 points but it’s so filling.
Adjei and I had a very low key day. We returned books to the library and then we had pizza and watched the rain. I made some awesome choices that I want to celebrate. 1. I had a salad with my pizza with balsamic vinegar and a little olive oil. 2. I only ordered one slice and I didn’t eat the crust. 3. I didn’t finish my son’s leftovers.
Tomorrow I want to go to the gym because I have a groupon I have to redeem this month. I also weigh in tomorrow at my Weight Watchers meeting. I love my WW meeting. I love my leader Liz. She is Jennifer Hudson’s personal leader and word on the street is, she’s currently working with Jessica Simpson. This did not come from her though. It’s a rumor floating around the meeting.
