News Worthy


Today was a great day.  I ran 4 miles but I had a rough start.  About a mile into my run I felt like I needed to pee.  I started to get super uncomfortable so I ran to the park bathroom and it was locked; so then I ran to another bathroom and it was locked.  I decided to do laps and run by the bathroom periodically to see if the park attendants unlocked the doors but they never did.  Each lap I kept thinking how awesome it would be to have a penis or would I get arrested if I squatted somewhere behind a tree. I pictured myself on the news getting arrested for public lewdness.  It was nice to have that distraction because after awhile it wasn't so bad.  When I got home I forgot all together that I needed the bathroom.  I think my body was trying to help me excuse myself from my run because I didn’t leave the house with any motivation. Luckily, I pushed through the discomfort and it felt amazing to complete that goal.

My eating was good today. I ate a lot of fruit but not much veggies.  I bought some veggies tonight and I also bought a new salad dressing.  Balsamic vinegar is so boring lately, so I’m allowing myself real salad dressing.  I try to stay away from creamy dressings because they’re triggers for my over eating.  Tomorrow is a rest day and I love it when I can sleep in a little.  One hour makes such a difference.
