Day 31

I’m back to hating exercise. I don’t like it. If I hadn’t committed to going with my friend Alicia, I would have gone home. Exercising on Monday nights is just so hard. Especially after a cold busy day. I feel like I don’t want to try at anything for like a month. Does that sound crazy? I’m just tired. I’m tired of tracking. I’m tired of preparing my food. I’m tired of working. I’m really tired of exercising. I’m tired of everything. I wanted a pumpkin loaf today but I didn’t have one. I had a stupid banana instead. Boo! I just feel like I’m working all the time. I also hate people with flat stomachs. I don’t like skinny people today.

Wow this is an inspiring blog, isn’t it? Tomorrow I will track my damn food and I will clean my dirty house. Maybe it’s time for the gratitude list. Here it goes:

I am grateful for my baby boy who makes me smile and laugh everyday.
I am grateful for my patient husband who pulls me back to peace.
I am grateful for my friend Alicia who goes with me to body conditioning on Monday and Wednesday night.
I am grateful for a healthy body.
I am grateful for my mommy who makes me feel like I’m the best in the world.

Good Night!

  1. Oh sweets, shit sucks sometimes doesn't it? It's Monday, we're getting more F'n snow, and you want pumpkin bread. I hear you loud and clear. I honestly stopped working out on Monday's for this reason. IT PISSED ME OFF EVERY TIME. Not so much the rest of the week. But Monday's, in my eyes, are shitty and hard enough. I want home, a warm bath, and comfort food at the end of a Monday. Not the gym. I don't know if it's an option for you, but maybe re think the Monday night gym thing. For me, it saved my fitness life.
I hope you have a better day tomorrow sister!!!

  3. I gotta agree. Give up Mondays! You have been hitting everything so hard, which is amazing, but yo don't want to burn out. I told myself that when my body lets me work out again, I am only doing 4 or 5 days a week, depending, and Sunday's and Monday's are out! You can kick a little less ass and still be kicking major ass! I think Confucius said that.

  4. Taree you're doing great. The other ladies are right... take Mondays to work on one of your other goals. I have no love for exercise, I'd rather clean the toilet, so I'm completely impressed with your commitment to the stuff.
